FC Bayern Women Take on AS Roma in UWCL Opener
Kick-off against Italian Champions
FC Bayern Women will host AS Roma in their opening group match of the UEFA Women's Champions League on Thursday, October 20th, 2022. The match will be played at the Allianz Arena in Munich and will kick-off at 6:45 PM CEST.
Bayern are coming into the match in good form, having won their last four matches in the German Bundesliga. Roma, on the other hand, have had a mixed start to the season, winning two, drawing one, and losing one of their first four matches in Serie A.
The two teams have never met before in competitive competition. However, Bayern have a good record against Italian opposition in the UWCL, having won three of their four previous matches against Serie A sides.
